Nikola Poluga (born March 1, 1986 in Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian volleyball player .

Career

Poluga finished fourth with the Serbian national junior team in 2004 at the European Championships in Zagreb . Until 2010 he played for OK Partizan Belgrade . From there he moved to the German Bundesliga club VC Gotha . In the Bundesliga season 2010/11 he was the third best middle blocker in the league, although his team missed the playoffs because of the worse set ratio. He then switched to TV Bühl . With the team he reached the semi-finals of the DVV Cup and the playoff quarter-finals of the Bundesliga in the 2011/12 season . A year later, Poluga came with Bühl in the cup quarter-finals and playoff semi-finals. In 2013, the middle blocker switched to league competitor VSG Coburg / Grub . There he came into the cup quarter-finals in the first season , but was eliminated in the league in the pre-playoffs. In 2014/15 Coburg also missed the playoffs as tenth in the main round and was eliminated in the second round of the cup. In 2015 Poluga went to the second division club Oshino Volleys Eltmann . In October 2017 he was signed by Bundesliga club Netzhoppers Königs Wusterhausen at short notice .
