Nikolaus Wandinger

Nikolaus Wandinger (born January 10, 1965 in Oberhaching ) is a German theologian.

Life

From 1971 to 1975 he attended the elementary school in Gmund am Tegernsee and from 1975 to 1984 the boarding school and music high school of the Regensburger Domspatzen . From 1985 to 1993 he studied specialist theology and philosophy at the University of Innsbruck , the University of San Francisco and the Graduate Theological Union . The graduation to Mag. Theol. he graduated from the University of Innsbruck in 1993 ( diploma thesis : "Original Sin" in the basic work of Eugen Drewermann). The graduation to Mag. Phil. fac. theol. he did in Innsbruck in 1994 (diploma thesis: Human Perspectives in Selected Positions Thomas von Aquins). After studying English at the University of Munich in 1993/1994 (without a degree), he worked in the youth center of the St. Paulus parish in Innsbruck in 1994/1995 . In 1995/1996 he was contract assistant at the Institute for Christian Philosophy at the University of Innsbruck. From 1996 to 1999 he was a pastoral assistant at the Paulinum Episcopal Study Center in Schwaz. From September 1999 to July 2010 he was a research assistant or Univ.-Ass. or at the Institute for Systematic Theology. From February 18 to 24, 2001, he gave guest lectures at the Milltown Institute in Dublin . After receiving the Dr. theol. 2002 with the dissertation : "Sin" as a basic concept of a heuristic for a theological anthropology. He held impulses from theology K. Rahner and R. Schwager February 10 to 14, 2003 Guest lectures at Heythrop College of the University of London . From February 4th to 11th, 2004 he gave guest lectures at the University of Tübingen . Since June 2004 he has been editor of the Bulletin of the Colloquium on Violence & Religion (COV & R). From February 14-18, 2005, he lectured at Mary Immaculate College, University of Limerick . From May 15th to 19th, 2006 he gave guest lectures at the University of Münster . Since August 1, 2010, he has been an assistant professor in a career position. After completing his habilitation in the subject of dogmatic theology in autumn 2012, he has been an associate professor since December 1, 2012 .
