Nils Hohenhövel

Nils Hohenhövel (born October 11, 1995 in Münster ) is a German actor .

Life

Between 2009 and 2012, Nils Hohenhövel played various roles at the young theater Cactus in his hometown Münster. He currently lives in Leipzig, where he has been attending the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy University of Music and Theater there since 2014 . There he also worked in two radio play productions produced and broadcast by mephisto 97.6 , the local radio of the University of Leipzig .

In addition, Hohenhövel has been in front of the camera for various film and television productions since 2014, for example in an episode of the crime series SOKO Cologne in 2014 and in the movie Männertag in 2015, directed by Holger Haase . In the medium-length film My right, right place is free ... in 2017, he played a school bomber, whose deeds left classmates and teachers permanently traumatized. In the LGBT web series Stage Fright , he mimes the main character Philipp, a college dropout who wants to succeed at the theater and experiences various formative affairs in the process. In 2018 Hohenhövel played his first major film lead role in Out in My Head , the FSJler Christoph, who assists Sven ( Samuel Koch ) , who has muscular dystrophy .

Hohenhövel has been an ensemble member at the Vienna Volkstheater since 2018 .
