Nils Lehmann (born June 6, 1968 in Erlangen ) is a German handball trainer and former handball player .
Lehmann played in several Bundesliga clubs during his career , his greatest success being winning the Euro City Cup in 1998 with Tus Nettelstedt . After the end of his active career, Lehmann was a (player) coach at HSG Düsseldorf from 2004 to 2007 . From March 2013 to June 2013 he trained the first men's team of the Hülser sports club in the association league and now holds the position of sports director.
In his 20-year career, Lehmann is so far the only German player to have made it to the top division with four different clubs - three of them as team captain.
From 1997 to 1998 Nils Lehmann played for the German national team , with which he finished third at the 1998 European Championship .
Nils Lehmann works as an architect.
