Nils Meyer (born November 14, 1979 in Nordhorn ) is a German handball player .

Career

Meyer, who runs with the shirt number 13, mostly plays on the back center . In his youth he started at FC Schüttorf 09 . In 1997 the right-hander moved to HSG Nordhorn , for which he scored seven goals in two Bundesliga games. From 2002 to 2010 he played for TSV Bayer Dormagen , with whom he was promoted to the handball Bundesliga in 2008. In 2010 he returned to Nordhorn. Meyer ended his career there in 2016. In addition to handball, the qualified sports scientist was also active in the areas of marketing and sponsoring for the club. In February 2017, however, he returned to the HSG Nordhorn-Lingen squad.
