Nina Laaf constructs large sculptures and space-consuming installations from several small elements. She consciously places different materials, shapes and colors side by side. Her artistic forms are based on everyday objects that Nina Laaf removes from their conventional context.

Laaf's large-format installations demand the participation of the viewer. Often their works relate specifically to their exhibition location.
