The sculpture cycle path is a 77 km long cycle path in the form of a sculpture path through building land and Odenwald in the Neckar-Odenwald district . The sculpture cycle path leads past a total of 25 sculptures through the communities of Adelsheim , Buchen , Osterburken , Ravenstein , Rosenberg and Seckach . The routes of the sculpture cycle path are continuously signposted with signposts with the logo of the cycle path.

history

The sculpture cycle path was created in 2005 as an art project "Sculptures on the cycle path - art in the landscape". In 2005 18 sculptures were created from very different materials by 18 different artists. The sculpture cycle path was opened in 2006.

In spring 2019, the sculpture cycle path was extended by seven sculptures and the city of Buchen was included. The opening of the extended sculpture cycle path took place on May 19, 2019 with an open air vernissage in Osterburken.
