Ninestar Corporation is a Chinese company based in Zhuhai , founded by Wei Yan in 2000 under the name G&G (Good products & Good printing). Today the abbreviation G&G stands for "Good products & Good service". The company's original goal was to refill HP print cartridges. Today the Ninestar Corporation is one of the largest manufacturers of printers , printer accessories and MPS solutions in the world.
history
The company name (company) Ninestar Corporation, replaced the previous name Apex Technology in 2017. The company was founded under the name G&G in 2000. In 2002, G&G developed the first chips for printer and toner cartridges .
In 2004 G&G moved to a new industrial park. This had an area of 130,000 square meters. There they developed toner cartridges . The group was renamed "Apex Technology".
Legend Holdings bought shares in Apex Technology in 2004 and thus became a strategic partner. This was followed by another move in 2013 to an industrial park with an area of 450,000 square meters.
APEXMIC took over the manufacturer of toner chips Static Control in 2015 . The largest takeover in the company's history took place in 2016: APEXMIC took over the US printer manufacturer Lexmark . Ninestar bought the Chinese ink cartridge manufacturers Topjet, Kingway and Inktank, making it the largest printer cartridge manufacturer in the world.
In May 2017, APEXMIC changed the company name to Ninestar Corporation.
Product range
Ninestar is now the largest manufacturer of compatible printer cartridges in the world. The company also offers laser printers through its subsidiaries Lexmark and Pantum. The subsidiaries Static Control and Apex produce components for the manufacture of toner and printer cartridges.
The Ninestar Image division markets its own printer cartridge and toner brand, G&G. In addition to its own brand G&G, Ninestar Image also produces printer accessories for other brands ( private label / trade marks ). Ninestar Image is also involved in the 3D printer segment and works with hospitals in China. Ninestar Image's Ribbon Division produces labeling tapes for labeling machines (for Brother P-Touch , Dymo and others).

G&G in Germany
In July 2017, the Ninestar subsidiary Seine Holland BV, the former Casio sales manager for office technology, Pelikan Germany boss and KMP board member Karl Kallinger and the Berlin printer cartridge dealer Tonerdumping started a cooperation with the aim of making the G&G brand known throughout Germany . Today the G&G printer cartridges are in Karstadt branches and are at the electronics retailer Conrad. Labeling tapes are listed at the Büroring purchasing association. In January 2020 Ninestar Image Tech Limited and toner-dumping.de Orth & Baer GmbH signed a public strategic partnership at the Paperworld office and stationery fair in Frankfurt am Main.
