Nizamettin Çalışkan (born March 20, 1987 in Hagen ) is a German - Turkish soccer player .
Career
society
Çalışkan was under contract with Borussia Dortmund from July 1, 1999 to July 1, 2006 . Until then he played for the Sportfreunde Geweke . Çalışkan was named the best player of the tournament at the DaimlerChrysler Junior Cup in 2005. In the 2005/06 season he was part of the first team squad. On April 22, 2006, the 31st matchday, Çalışkan made his debut in the home game against 1. FC Nuremberg in the Bundesliga when he came on in the 83rd minute for his compatriot Nuri Şahin . On the last day of the match Çalışkan was in the starting line-up for the first time in the game against Bayern Munich .
For the 2006/07 season, the midfielder moved to Turkey for Manisaspor . There he finally became a regular player. In the summer of 2008, he had to go into the second division with Manisaspor , but immediately made it back to the Süper Lig . He has been an integral part of the team ever since and only one persistent injury in the 2010/11 season could incapacitate him. In the next season, however, he established himself again as a regular player.
After his club missed relegation at the end of the 2011/12 season, he took advantage of the fact that his contract with Manisaspor expired and moved to Orduspor within the league . After Orduspor also missed relegation in the summer of 2013, he left this club and moved to the first division club Gençlerbirliği Ankara . With this club he played the following two seasons long.
After remaining without a club for the 2015/16 season, he was signed by the second division side Balıkesirspor in the summer of 2016 . Here he played for three seasons and moved to third division Manisa FK for the 2019/20 season .

Çalışkan completed some missions for the Turkish U-17 and U-19 national teams .
