Njogu Demba-Nyrén (* 26. June 1979 in Bakau , Gambia ) is a former Swedish football player with Gambian descent. He always played in the position of a striker.
His first youth club was the Swedish club Falu BS . As a professional footballer he played in 2000/01 for the Swedish club BK Häcken . He then played one season each with the Greek clubs PAS Giannina and Aris Thessaloniki . The next 2003/04 season he played for the Bulgarian club Levski Sofia . During the season he moved back to a Greek club, Panathinaikos Athens , and then to AO Kerkyra .
From 2005 to 2007 he played for the Danish first division club Esbjerg fB . At the beginning of 2008 he moved to Brann Bergen in Norway. After a season he left the club and joined Odense BK in early 2009 . In the 2009/10 season he reached the runner-up. In early 2011 he moved to Notts County in England in League One . In summer 2011 he returned to Esbjerg fB. At the end of the 2011/12 season he rose with his team in the super league.
In early 2013 Demba-Nyrén moved to IK Brage in Sweden. He has been playing in the Swedish lower leagues since 2014.
He had decided to play for the Gambian national soccer team .
