occupation

No Men Beyond This Point is a Canadian science fiction film in the style of a mockumentary by Mark Sawers , which premiered on January 27, 2015 as part of the Rotterdam International Film Festival .

action

In 1953 it became possible for women to reproduce without the intervention of men . Men are no longer being born either, and they have disappeared from all important positions. Sex and violence are outlawed, and males are becoming a race that is extinct. The few remaining men are kept on a reservation and are no longer part of society, with the exception of a few men who are allowed to do low jobs. In this world where women wear their pants, have become asexual and no longer have male offspring, it is now up to the quiet and humble household helper Andrew Myers to ensure that the male sex does not die out. The 37-year-old is the youngest man alive and works for a family made up of women.

Reviews

John DeFore of The Hollywood Reporter says: Mark Sawers created, apart from one or two funny scenes, a little pointed satire. DeFore also says the film is not provocative or amusing enough to have import potential.
