Tom McBeath (born January 4, 1958 in Vancouver , Canada ) is a Canadian actor .

Life

Tom McBeath is the son of a Scottish immigrant. He started his professional career in 1968 as a computer programmer at Air Canada Finance in Winnipeg . In his spare time he played in amateur theater from 1970 and was active in five amateur theater groups in 1972 and spent more time on stage than at his job. So he decided to study acting at the University of Alberta and later at the Playhouse Acting School . Until his film debut in a small role in the 1984 television thriller Glitter Dom - In the stranglehold of the glittering world , McBeath played theater. He was able to establish himself as a film actor and has since played in films such as Doppelmord , Im Netz der Spider , Aliens vs. Predator 2 and Watchmen - The Guardians with.

In parallel to his film and theater roles, McBeath also starred in several television films and series. From 2006 to 2007 he played Roger Deakins for ten episodes in the mystery crime series Intelligence . However, he became known to a wide audience as Harry Maybourne, whom he impersonated in eleven episodes of the science fiction series Stargate - Kommando SG-1 .
