Nondorf is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Hoheneich in the Gmünd district in Lower Austria .
geography
Nondorf consists of the Breitangerdorf Groß-Nondorf with three and four-sided courtyards and garden fields in the valley of the Albrechtsbach. In the east, the Kleinhausgemeinde Klein-Nondorf joins the Johannahöhe east of the Elexenbach.
history
Groß-Nondorf was officially named in 1423, Klein-Nondorf was newly founded in 1543. In 1580, Groß-Nondorf and Klein-Nondorf were officially separated.
Settlement development
At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 90 building areas with 32,820 m² and 57 gardens on 32,697 m² in the cadastral community of Nondorf and at the turn of the year 1989/1990 there were also 90 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 362 and in 2009/2010 there were 193 buildings on 427 building areas.
Agriculture
The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 250 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 106 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 221 hectares and 123 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 204 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 127 hectares. The average soil climate number of Nondorf is 23.8 (as of 2010).
