Nora Khuon (born December 19, 1980 in Konstanz ) is a German dramaturge .

Life

She studied cultural studies and modern German literature in Berlin and graduated with a master's degree in 2005. She worked as an assistant director at the Deutsches Theater Berlin , at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg , as a project manager at the Festival Theaterformen in Hanover and Braunschweig and as a guest dramaturge at the Slovenian National Theater in Ljubljana .

From 2005 to 2009 she worked as a dramaturge at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg. There she and Kevin Rittberger designed the event series “Deceleration!” She worked with Dušan David Pařízek , Kevin Rittberger and Martin Kušej . Until 2009 she had a teaching position at the Theater Academy Hamburg .

2009–2013 Nora Khuon was dramaturge at Schauspiel Frankfurt , where she a. a. worked with Karin Henkel, Markus Bothe, Kevin Rittberger and Stephan Kimmig. In 2012 Nora Khuon received the Marie Zimmermann Scholarship for Dramaturgy. From 2013 she was acting dramaturge at the German National Theater Weimar under the direction of Hasko Weber .

In the meantime, Khuon worked again at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg. Since the 2019/20 season she has been chief dramaturge and deputy director at the Schauspiel Hannover .

She is the daughter of theater director Ulrich Khuon . Her brother is the actor Alexander Khuon .
