Norbert Kraus

Norbert Kraus (born June 17, 1957 in Aachen ) is a German sculptor and media artist .

life and work

Norbert Kraus studied sculpture from 1976 to 1985 at the Düsseldorf Art Academy under Erwin Heerich . In 1985 he passed the 1st state examination for secondary level II in art and philosophy.

Since 1993 Kraus has been teaching at the School for Art and Theater in Neuss and in 2006/07 received a visiting professorship at the Saar College of Fine Arts . In 2013/17 he was a lecturer at the Berlin Technical Art Academy and has been teaching at the Mediadesign Hochschule in Düsseldorf since 2018 .

Norbert Kraus lives in Düsseldorf.
