Norbert Rob Schittek
Norbert Rob Schittek (* 1946 ) is a German architect , sculptor , photographer, university professor and artist who lives in Bad Nenndorf .
Life
After attending school, Norbert Rob Schittek studied sculpture and architecture before receiving his diploma in architecture from the University of Hanover in 1975 . Soon afterwards he worked for several years from 1977 to 1983 as a scientific assistant at the chair for modeling in the architecture department of the University of Hanover with Stefan Schwerdtfeger . Schittek also taught temporarily at the Holzminden University of Applied Sciences and the University of Paderborn .
From 1991 to 1996 Schittek taught representation and design at the Institute for Green Planning and Garden Architecture at the University of Hanover. In 1997 he took over the professorship for design and representation at the University of GH Paderborn. From 2000 to 2011 he then worked as a professor for design and representation at the Leibniz University in Hanover.

Norbert Rob Schittek was active
- as a member of the art commission for the Federal Garden Show in Magdeburg , the BUGA Magdeburg 1999 ;
- as a member of the collegial group of the city of Hanover;
- as a member of the advisory board “Gardens and Parks in Ostwestfalen-Lippe”;
- as a founding member of the Center for Garden Art and Landscape Architecture (CGL), to whose board he was elected;
- as well as numerous jury activities for art, landscape and architecture competitions.

As an artist, Schittek has sent numerous art exhibitions, but also projects in the areas of art in public spaces and for urban and open space planning, including

Awards
Schittek took part in various competitions and won several prizes, including
- the art prize of the Hanover Art Association ,
- the Laves Art Prize The City of Fine Arts ,
- as well as the Hanover Prize for outstanding urban development achievements , recognition.
