Norbert Sund (born January 1, 1959 ) is a German volleyball player .

Career

Norbert Sund has played volleyball at ASV Hettenleidelheim since 1973 in his home country . After a season in 1977/78 with the second division club Eintracht Frankfurt , he moved to the Bundesliga club TSV Bonn . During this time he also played in the German national team . In 1980, the acceptance specialist went to local rivals SSF Bonn , with whom he became German champion in his first season . In 1985 Sund moved back to SC Fortuna Bonn and won the DVV Cup there in 1987 . Then he went back to his home in the Palatinate and has since played in the 2nd Bundesliga, Regional League and Oberliga for VBC Ludwigshafen , for SC Mutterstadt , for VSG Mannheim-Käfertal and since 2004 for TSV Speyer . Here Sund was also a player-coach at times and played in the newly created third division in 2012/13 . Then he concentrated on his coaching activity.

Professional

Sund works as a teacher for mathematics, sport and computer science at the Werner-Heisenberg-Gymnasium Bad Dürkheim .
