Nowa Brzeźnica ( German Brzeznica , 1943-1945 Bern Valley ) is a village and seat of the municipality of the same name in the powiat Pajęczański of the Łódź Voivodeship , Poland . It is the birthplace of the composer Juliusz Łuciuk and the diplomat, geographer and historian Jan Długosz .
