Nowa Sloboda ( Ukrainian Нова Слобода ; Russian Новая Слобода Nowaja Sloboda ) is a village in the east of the Ukrainian Sumy Oblast with about 1500 inhabitants (2004).

Nowa Sloboda is located in the Putywl district near the border with the Russian Oblast Kursk on the T – 19–20 territorial road . The Putywl district center is 21 km to the west and the Sumy oblast center is about 110 km southeast of the village.
The Sofronijiwskyj Monastery is located near the village , a monastery of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate built around 1630 .
The village is the center of the district council of the same name , which also includes the village of Sloboda ( Свобода ⊙ ) with about 20 inhabitants and the Selyschtsche Partysanske ( Партизанське ⊙ ) with about 10 inhabitants.
