Noyant is a town and commune Déléguée in the French commune of Noyant-Villages with 1,754 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire .

The municipality of Noyant was founded on December 15, 2016 with 13 other municipalities, namely Auverse , Breil , Broc , Chalonnes-sous-le-Lude , Chigné , Dénezé-sous-le-Lude , Genneteil , Lasse , Linières-Bouton , Meigné-le -Vicomte , Méon , Chavaignes and Parçay-les-Pins merged to form the new municipality of Noyant-Villages.

geography

Noyant is located in the Baugeois landscape in the extreme east of the Maine-et-Loire department on the border with the Indre-et-Loire department . The Marconne river rises south of the village.

Leisure and culture

The regional boules de Baugeois, the boule de fort, is also played in Noyant .

Noyant has a spacious outdoor pool .

The main traffic artery is the departmental road D 766 from Baugé to Château-la-Vallière . In Noyant it crosses Département road D 141.
