Nuevo Mundo is a town in the Chuquisaca department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
Nuevo Mundo is located in the province of Belisario Boeto in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) of Villa Serrano . The village is located in the Río Grande Mascicuri National Park at an altitude of 2215 m on the border between the departments of Chuquisaca and Santa Cruz .

Nuevo Mundo is located between the Altiplano and the Bolivian lowlands in the ridge of the Bolivian Cordillera Central. The climate is warm and temperate and a typical time of day climate , in which the temperature differences fluctuate more strongly during the day than during the year.
