Nurlan Ybyrajew ( Kazakh Нұрлан Болатұлы Ыбыраев , Russian Нурлан Болатович Ибраев , at the World Chess Federation FIDE Nurlan Ibrayev ; born February 25, 1977 in Zelinograd ) is a Kazakh chess player and judge.
He won the Kazakh Individual Championship once: in 2019. He played for Kazakhstan at three Chess Olympiads : 2002 , 2004 and 2008 . He also took part in the Asian team championships (2003).
At the 2005 World Chess Cup he failed in the first round to Şəhriyar Məmmədyarov .
He has held the title of FIDE referee since 2013 . For example, since 2010 he has been a referee at the Kazakh individual championships and the 2012 world championships in blitz and rapid chess .
