Serikbai Temirbayev
Serikbai Temirbaev ( Kazakh Серікбай Біләлұлы Темірбаев , Russian Серикбай Билялович Темирбаев , the World Chess Federation FIDE Serikbay Temirbayev * 8. August 1961 in Kokshetau ) is a Kazakh chess players and has since the year 2015, International Referee .
He won the Kazakh individual championship twice: 1985 and 1986. He played for Kazakhstan at six Chess Olympiads : 1992 to 2000 and 2004 , winning the individual silver medal on the first reserve board at the 2004 Chess Olympiad in Calvià . He also took part three times in the Asian team championships (1993 to 1999) and once in the team world championship (1997).
In 1992 he became International Master , since 1995 he has held the title of Grand Master . His highest rating was 2500 in July 1995.
