Änuar Ismagambetow ( Kazakh Әнуар Исмағамбетов ; Russian Ануар Мухтарович Исмагамбетов , the World Chess Federation FIDE Anuar Ismagambetov * 21st March 1986 in Tselinograd ) is a Kazakh chess player .

He won the Kazakh individual championship twice: in 2008 and 2012. He played for Kazakhstan in seven Chess Olympiads : 2006 to 2018 . He also took part in the Asian team championships three times (2012 to 2016).

At the Chess World Cup 2007 he failed in the first round to Yevgeny Alexejew .

He has been an international master since 2005 and a grand master since 2008 . He has held the title of FIDE trainer since 2016 and the title of FIDE referee since 2020. At FIDE he is responsible for Kazakhstan as well as the Kazakh rating officer.
