Farm animal of the year
The farm animal of the year is one of the annual elections for farm animals for Nature of the Year by the Austrian Nature Conservation Union . The nominations do not necessarily take place at the beginning of the year. With the appointment, the federal government wants to create awareness of domestic animal breeds and, among other things, to draw attention to dangers.
