Moss of the year
In 2005, the moss of the year was awarded for the first time by the Bryological-Lichenological Working Group for Central Europe (BLAM). The aim is to draw attention to a little-noticed group of plants that are represented in Germany with more than 1000 species and that offer people great benefits.
