Nyschnij Strutyn ( Ukrainian Нижній Струтинь ; Russian Нижний Струтинь Nizhny Strutin , Polish Strutyn Niżny ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast Ivano-Frankivsk with about 3000 inhabitants (2001).

The village, known since the 18th century (according to another source, it was founded in 1511) is the only locality of the 21.173 km² district council of the same name in the northwest of Roschnjatiw Rajon .

The village is located on the right bank of the Chechva ( Чечва ), a 52 km long tributary of the Limnyzja , which is dammed into a lake in the northeast of the village. Nyschnij Strutyn borders in the east on the Rajonzentrum Roschnjatiw , through which the territorial road T-09-02 runs. The Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast Center is located 55 km east of the village.

During the Soviet Union , a narrow-gauge railway ran through the village.
