Ross O'Hennessy

Ross O'Hennessy (born 1974 in Ponllanfraith , South Wales ) is a Welsh actor .

life and career

Ross O'Hennessy is the child of a Welsh working class family, but decided to become an actor at the age of 16. Because of this, he moved to London when he was 18. O'Hennessy was accepted into the National Youth Theater and directed by actor Hakeem Kae-Kazim . He first appeared in plays such as Maggy May , The Tempest and Macbeth in London . For his acting performance he received a scholarship from John Mills , which earned him a three-year acting training at the Mountview Academy of Theater Arts .

After that time, O'Hennessy continued to appear in the theater for a period, including the Chichester Festival Theater in The Visit alongside Lauren Bacall . Due to the success of this production, O'Hennessy was asked to join the Royal Shakespeare Company . This was followed by appearances in the plays As You Like It , Three Hours After Marriage and Troilus and Cressida .

After this time, O'Hennessy also gained a foothold in film and television. He had his first television appearance as a cop. Dando in the series Soldier Soldier from 1995 to 1997. After a number of guest appearances in British television series, he played the role of Brude Maverick in Hollyoaks Later in 2011 . From 2013 to 2014 he was seen in the series Da Vinci's Demons in the role of Commander Quattrone . In 2015 he was part of the cast of the fifth season of the fantasy series Game of Thrones as Lord of the Bones . O'Hennessy took on the role of Edward Dogliani , who played her in seasons 2 and 3. He also played a recurring role in The Bastard Executioner in 2015 .
