Church of the Sacrifice of the Virgin

Oberreit is a part of the municipality of Feldkirchen-Westerham in Upper Bavaria. The church village is located in the west of the community at an altitude of 612  m above sea level. NN and has 106 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2004). In 1752 the village consisted of six properties.

Attractions

The daughter church of the Virgin Mary used to be a much-visited pilgrimage church and dates from around 1500: The holy water font is dated 1477. In the 17th century the church was Baroque , in the 18th century the vault with Rococo - stucco decorated. The altar of the church dates from the early Baroque around 1650, the miraculous image on the altar is a late Gothic work from around 1470.

In the octagonal bell tower with an onion dome, two bronze bells hang on wooden yokes in a wooden belfry .
