Unterlaus (Pups is in the middle of the mountain)

Pups is a part of the municipality Feldkirchen-Westerham in the district of Rosenheim . The wasteland is in the north of the municipality near Unterlaus, northeast of the Lauser Weiher . Pups is at an altitude of 590  m above sea level. NHN and has 15 inhabitants (as of December 1, 2006).

The farm had been owned by the Höhenrain family since the 12th century . In 1498 Jörg von Pienzenau zu Kemathen sold the farm to Gut Altenberg . With the dissolution of Hofmark Höhenrain in 1813 as part of the reorganization of the Bavarian state, he first moved to the Höhenrain tax district and in 1818 to the newly formed municipality of Höhenrain . Since their incorporation in 1978, Pups has been part of Feldkirchen-Westerham.
