Oberschlottwitz is a district of the Saxon town of Glashütte in the Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains district .

history

The scattered settlement Oberschlottwitz was originally a district of Großröhrsdorf and belonged to the Pirna office . The basic rule exercised the manor Weesenstein from. In 1539 Oberschlottwitz was parish in Burkhardswalde . In 1842 the area was 114  hectares . From 1856 Oberschlottwitz belonged to the Pirna court office and from 1874 to the Pirna administration . The place was now parish to Liebstadt . In 1950 Oberschlottwitz was rearranged from Großröhrsdorf to Schlottwitz . In the same year it went to the district of Dippoldiswalde, which was formed from the administrative authorities . This went into the Weißeritzkreis in 1994 . With the incorporation of Schlottwitz in 1995, Oberschlottwitz also became part of the city of Glashütte. The Weißeritzkreis became part of the Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains district on August 1, 2008 .
