The gmina wiejska Obrzycko is an independent rural municipality in Poland in the powiat Szamotuły in the Greater Poland Voivodeship . Its seat is in the city of Obrzycko (German Obersitzko ). The rural community, to which the city of Obrzycko itself does not belong, has an area of 110.8 km², on which (as of June 30, 2019) 4499 people live.
history
From 1975 to 1998 the rural community was part of the Poznan Voivodeship .
geography
The municipality is located in the north of the voivodeship. The territory of the rural municipality includes the town of Obrzycko on all sides.
