Obrzycko ( German Obersitzko , 1943-1945 Obersitz ) is a town and seat of the municipality and a rural municipality of the same name in Poland , to which the city does not belong. The place is located in the powiat Szamotulski of the Greater Poland Voivodeship .

Obersitzko an der Warthe , south of the cities of Schneidemühl and Czarnikau , on a map of the province of Posen from 1905 (areas marked in yellow indicate areas with a majority of Polish- speaking population at the time ).
