Océane Delin (* 2002 ) is a German - French climate protection activist and models for sustainable fashion . She gained national attention through the election for Miss Baden-Württemberg Teen and through her appearance for Unicef at Bellevue Palace in March 2020.

She is one of the organizers of the Fridays for Future movement in Lörrach and often represents the movement in public at panel discussions, for example at the Future Day , when she and Thilo Bode , Louis Motaal from Plant-for-the-planet , the Lord Mayor of Lörrach Jörg Lutz and Uwe Schneidewind sat on the podium. She achieved her greatest fame to date through her election as Miss Baden-Württemberg Teen. In 2019 she was named Miss Black Forest Teen and shortly thereafter also Miss Baden-Württemberg Teen. The SWR then gave her the title "Miss Climate Protection" because of her commitment to climate protection. She won the election in a second-hand dress. For them, this is "the most environmentally friendly way to reuse clothes." Although in such competitions the focus was often only on the outside, as she criticized, her choice made it possible to focus more on environmental protection and sustainability in this business too, and thus make people more aware of "fair fashion" bring. After the election, she joined the fair fashion label "Made in Freedom", which claims to be committed to fair, ecological and environmentally conscious action and to support Indian smallholders and women who have been victims of sexual exploitation to find a way out of humiliation a future with prospects.

She is the junior ambassador and youth leader of Unicef ​​and represented the German branch of the organization at the New Year's reception in Bellevue Palace in Berlin in March 2020 at the invitation of Elke Büdenbender , where she appeared on the podium together with Antje Boetius and Jörg Thadeusz on the topic of sustainability .

In March 2020 she was elected as deputy chairwoman to the board of the Jusos in Lörrach. Her areas of responsibility include international relations , equality and environmental policy .
