Ogrody (German Neu Garte or Garthe , Polish formerly Nowe Ogrody ) is a village in Poland in the Greater Poland Voivodeship . The place belongs to the municipality Święciechowa in the Powiat Leszczyński and is part of the Lasocice school administration .
history
The first written mention of today's Ogrody comes from 1421. In that year the place was the seat of a parish to which Lasocice , Strzyżewice , Przybyszewo and Trzebiny belonged. The parish was dissolved in the 16th century and on May 15, 1675 the area fell to Schwetzkau ( Święciechowa ). Between 1926 and 1944 the place of the estate was in Przybyszewo, today (2011) the agricultural land belongs to an agricultural enterprise from Przybyszewo.
Economy and Infrastructure
The village is on a side road between Święciechowa and Lasocice. There is no rail connection.
