Ohu is part of the Essenbach market and a district in the Lower Bavarian district of Landshut . Until 1978 it formed an independent municipality.

The village is located on Längenmühlbach and State Road 2074 . The towns of Gaden , Oberahrain , Ohu, Unterahrain are located in the Ohu district .

history

The former community consisted of the places Gaden, Oberahrain, Ohu and Unterahrain. In 1961 the parish area was 1241 hectares and there were 1132 parishioners. At the 1970 census, the village had 671 inhabitants, the parish had 1,490 inhabitants. The former community was completely incorporated into Essenbach in 1978.
