Oisching is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Thörl in the Bruck-Mürzzuschlag district in Styria .

Oisching is located west of Etmißl in a side valley and consists of a few individual layers .

history

The earliest written document is from 1382 and reads "Olschün". The name goes back to the old Slavic Olъša (alder).

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 14 building areas with 8,222 m² and 4 gardens on 503 m² in the cadastral community of Oisching , in 1989/1990 there were 14 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 44 and in 2009/2010 there were 20 buildings on 34 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is shaped by forestry. 59 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of 1979/1980 and 758 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 38 hectares and 817 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 30 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 820 hectares. The average soil climate in Oisching is 10.8 (as of 2010).
