The Oklahoma City Warriors were an American ice hockey team based in Oklahoma City , Oklahoma . The team played in the American Hockey Association from 1933 to 1936 .
history
The franchise was founded in 1933 as the American Hockey Association's expansion team under the name Oklahoma City Warriors. In their first two seasons, the team clearly missed the playoff qualification. During the 1935/36 season , the team was relocated to Minneapolis, Minnesota, on March 12, 1936, and changed their name to Minneapolis Warriors. The team only missed the playoffs because of the lost direct comparison against the Tulsa Oilers .
After the Minneapolis Millers returned to the AHA for the 1936/37 season , the Warriors stopped playing.
