He was already successful as a junior and from 2006 to 2011 played a number of junior world and European championships in different age groups. He was in 2008 in Cali / Colombia Junior World Champion in the U 20 age group in the lightweight with a duel of 307 kg (142-165). In the push, however, he did not manage the initial weight of 175 kg in three attempts, with which he could not achieve a duel and therefore remained unplaced. He was not nominated by the Russian Weightlifting Association for participation in the Olympic Games in London this year.

He was very successful in 2013. In April of this year he became European lightweight champion in Tirana in duels and snatches. His performance in a duel was 331 kg (155-176), with which he referred Sardar Hasanov from Azerbaijan, 326 kg and Daniel Godelli, Albania, 325 kg to the places.
