Oleksandr Sitkowskyj
Oleksandr Wassyljowytsch Sitkowskyj ( Ukrainian Олександр Васильович Сітковський , English transcription Oleksandr Sitkovskyy ; born June 9, 1978 in Schowti Vody , Ukrainian SSR ) is a Ukrainian marathon runner .
In 2006 he won the half marathon route of the Linz Marathon and came fourth in the Ljubljana Marathon , which he won in 2007. In 2008 he finished second in the Turin Marathon with his personal best of 2:10:18 h . He qualified for the marathon of the Olympic Games in Beijing , in which, however, he did not reach the goal.
In 2009 he finished fifth in the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon and set a course record of 2:10:27 in the La Rochelle Marathon .
In 2016 he took part in the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro .
