Oleksijiwka ( Ukrainian Олексіївка ; Russian Алексеевка Alexejewka ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Kharkiv with about 1,800 inhabitants (2001).
In connection with the construction of a Cossack fortress , which was part of the Ukrainian defense line to protect Sloboda-Ukraine from raids by the Crimean Tatars , the village was founded in 1731. Oleksijiwka is the only village of the same name, 73.8 km² district council in Pervomajskyj district .
The village is located at an altitude of 72 m on the bank of the Bereka ( Берека ), an 82 km long right tributary of the Siversky Donets , 5 km east of the Pervomajskyj district center and about 90 km south of the Kharkiv oblast center .
The territorial road T-21-10 runs through the village in an east-west direction .
