Olga Kazi

Olga Kazi (married Gyulai; born May 10, 1941 in Kispest ) is a former Hungarian middle-distance runner and sprinter . At the Olympic Games in Rome in 1960, she was eliminated over 800 m in the preliminary run. Over 800 m she won bronze at the European Athletics Championships in 1962 in Belgrade and won the Universiade in 1963. At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964, she reached the semi-finals over 800 m . She did not get beyond the first lap over 400 m . At the European Indoor Games in Belgrade in 1969 , she was part of the mixed Hungarian relay that did not reach the goal. She was five times Hungarian champion over 800 m (1960-1963, 1965), twice over 400 m (1960, 1963) and once each over 1500 m (1968) and in cross country (1962). She was married to the sprinter István Gyulai . Her sons Miklós Gyulai and Márton Gyulai are successful in bobsleigh.
