Wolha Uladsimirauna Wassiljonak ( Belarusian Вольга Уладзіміраўна Васілёнак ; born May 17, 1980 in Myadzyel ) is a former Belarusian cross-country skier .

Career

Wassiljonak took part in competitions of the Fédération Internationale de Ski from 2000 to 2010 . In January 2004 she made her debut in the World Cup in Otepää and finished eighth in the relay. Two months later she ran her first individual World Cup race in Oslo , which she finished in 48th place in the sprint. At the beginning of the 2004/05 season she won her first World Cup points with 11th place in the sprint in Düsseldorf and thus achieved her best individual World Cup placement. Her best results at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2005 in Oberstdorf were 29th place over 10 km freestyle and tenth place with the relay. At her first Olympic participation in 2006 in Pragelato , she finished 51st in the 15 km skiathlon, 34th in the 30km mass start race, 25th in the sprint and 15th in the relay. In January 2007 she won the 15 km freestyle at the Winter Universiade 2007 in Pragelato and the bronze medal in the 10 km skiathlon. The following month she came at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2007 in Sapporo on the 49th place in the sprint, on the 31st place over 10 km freestyle, on the 13th place with the relay and sixth place together Viktoria Lopatina in the team sprint. Her best results at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2009 in Liberec were 17th place in the sprint and ninth place in the relay. The Tour de Ski 2009/10 she finished in 30th place. She ended her career after the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver , where she finished 55th in 10 km freestyle, 46th in sprint, 13th in team sprint with Kazjaryna Rudakowa and tenth in relay.

Wassiljonak took part in a total of 39 individual World Cup races and came in seven points.
