The Olimpiskais Centrs Ventspils (German: Olympic Center Ventspils) is a sports complex in Ventspils , Latvia . It is one of the largest and most modern sports facilities in the Latvian-speaking area, which, while promoting the Olympic movement, develops high levels of performance in top-class and popular sports.
The OC Ventspils consists of a football stadium with a capacity of 3,200 places, a basketball and ice rink , a sports hotel, a water adventure park (Piedzīvojumu parka), numerous tennis and training grounds as well as an athletics hall ( Pārventa ), a skate park , a ski Hill ( Lemberga hūte ), a conference building and an ice rink .
The Olimpiskais Centrs Ventspils, which covers an area of 7,700 m², is located in the port city of the same name in western Latvia at the confluence of the Venta River .
