Oliver Mauroner

Oliver Mauroner (* 1976 in Bolzano ) is an Italian economist and university professor . He is a professor of business administration , especially future-oriented management in medium-sized companies at the Mainz University of Applied Sciences .

Career

From 1995 to 2002, Mauroner studied business informatics at the Technical University of Ilmenau , which he completed with a degree in business informatics. From 2002 to 2013 Mauroner worked as a research assistant at the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Optics and Precision Mechanics IOF in Jena under the direction of Andreas Tünnermann . From 2007 he headed the office of the application center for micro-optical systems amos and from 2012 he was department head for the areas of strategy / marketing / coordination at the Fraunhofer Institute. In parallel to his work at the Fraunhofer Institute, Mauroner was an external doctoral student at Roland Helm's chair at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena from 2002 to 2009 . The doctorate took place in 2009 with a dissertation in the field of spin-offs from scientific research, so-called spin-offs . From 2009 to 2011 Mauroner studied science marketing at the Technical University of Berlin and graduated with a Master of Science for Communication and Marketing. In 2013, Mauroner was appointed junior professor for innovation and creative management at the Bauhaus University Weimar . There he worked in the field of entrepreneurship and consulting at the neudeli start-up workshop . In 2016 he accepted a professorship for business administration, in particular future-oriented management in medium-sized companies, at the Mainz University of Applied Sciences. Mauroner is a member of various advisory boards and committees, such as the University Council of Mainz University of Applied Sciences, the Advisory Board of the Interdisciplinary Annual Conference on Entrepreneurship, Innovation and SMEs (G-Forum), the Scientific Board of the Interdisciplinary European Conference on Entrepreneurship Research (IECER) and the Advisory Board of Competition Best of Consulting Mittelstand by Wirtschaftswoche .

Life

Mauroner comes from Castelrotto in South Tyrol . He has three children and is married to the journalist Cornelia Mauroner, who works for the Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk .

Research priorities

Mauroner deals with creativity and creativity management, e.g. B. with the further development of creativity techniques such as brainstorming , makerspaces or hackathons . Mauroner also researches modern innovation and management concepts such as B. Design Thinking , Storytelling , Co-Creation or Open Innovation .
