After he was not even considered for the bench at the beginning of the 2012/13 season, the club gave him on loan to the second division club NK Rudeš . There he was able to establish himself as a regular goalkeeper and played 29 games in which he remained clean twelve times. After his return to Dinamo Zagreb at the beginning of the 2013/14 season, he also made his first appearances there. On July 23, 2013 he made his European debut when he was used in the second qualifying round for the Champions League in the game against CS Fola Esch . After he had only sat on the bench on the first two match days of the 1st HNL , he celebrated his first division debut against HNK Rijeka on matchday three . In the course of the first half of the season Zelenika completed eleven more missions and remained a total of seven times without conceding a goal. After he had only sat on the bench on the last match day of the first half of the season, he was loaned out again for the rest of the season - this time to the first division club Lokomotiv Zagreb . Zelenika made 67 appearances at Lokomotiv, without conceding ten goals. After the loan expires, he will return to Dinamo Zagreb. Zelenika has been without a club since July 2019.
