Aruba participated in the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona , Spain , with a delegation of five athletes (four men and one woman) in four competitions in three sports. The youngest athlete was the cyclist Lucien Dirksz (23 years and 308 days), who was also the flag bearer, the oldest athlete was the marathon runner Lia Melis (32 years and 161 days). Medals could not be won. It was the country's second participation in the Summer Olympics .
