Malta took part in the 1992 Summer Olympic Games in Barcelona with a delegation of six athletes (three men, three women). It was the tenth time that Malta had participated in the Summer Olympics.

Flag bearer

Judoka Laurie Pace carried the flag of Malta during the opening ceremony at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys .
