Aruba participated in the 1996 Summer Olympics for the third time in the Summer Olympics. The team consisted of three athletes who were all men. They started in three competitions in three sports. The youngest participant was weightlifter Junior Faro at 18 years and 10 days, the oldest was cyclist Lucien Dirksz at 27 years and 306 days. Junior Faro carried the flag into the Olympic Stadium during the opening ceremony on July 19, 1996.
