The Seychelles participated in the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta for the fourth time at Summer Olympics in part. The team consisted of nine participants, eight men and one woman. They started in nine competitions in five sports, but could not win a medal. The youngest participant was swimmer Kenny Roberts at 18 years and 72 days, the oldest was boxer Rival Cadeau at 32 years and 69 days. Cadeau was also given the honor of carrying the Seychelles flag into the Olympic Stadium during the opening ceremony on July 19, 1996.
